You can come in January or April and study English and Academic Skills and then progress to following academic modules within the University, or come in October or January if you already have the required level of English and progress directly onto academic modules.

The English will develop your

• communication skills
• confidence
• vocabulary and grammatical awareness
• fluency and accuracy when speaking and writing
• ability to understand and take notes when reading and listening
• seminar skills
• presentation skills
• awareness of academic conventions
• knowledge of British culture

The wide range of academic modules available will provide you with an opportunity to study subjects of your choice and to possibly gain credits towards your degree at home.
