Steve Issitt

Steve Issit has a BSc in Social Science and an MEd in TESOL.

He has worked in schools, in further and higher education and for several examination boards. He is a Cambridge PET team leader and active Trinity examiner.

Steve is currently Senior Coordinator of the EAP Presessional Programme and has special responsibility for the 20-week programme. He also teaches on EISU’s insessional programme and gives regular classes in the Business School together with lunchtime language classes and one to one sessions. He has made contributions to other programmes and the CELS summer school.

He  is external examiner for De Montfort University’s MA in English Language Teaching and for Lincoln University’s EFL undergraduate units.

Steve is interested in EAP course design, academic literacy and English for the Social Sciences. He is also concerned with writing improvement and currently is developing research interests in this area.
